Extreme WIDE Angle logo...

The Big Bend region of Texas is a remarkable union of trackless desert, forbidding mountains, and impenetrable canyons. Although the area is arid to the extreme, wildlife abounds if you look closely. The natural wonders of this huge hanging-loop in the Rio Grande have been preserved in the forms of Big Bend National Park, and Big Bend Ranch Texas State Park. Together, they comprise well over a million acres of prime wilderness.
