he Grand Canyon is absolutely immense and it is impossible to truly comprehend its physical extent. Pipe Creek, itself a huge chasm in the earth's crust, is merely a minor side canyon, a small tributary, to the main body of the Grand Canyon. This photograph, taken at the last rays of sunset, captures the mood of solitude that descends upon the Canyon in twilight.
